Privacy policy

What we collect today

• No accounts, no cookies, no advertising trackers. StateYield is a static website. Our pages do not set cookies or load advertising trackers. We use one privacy-focused analytics service, described below.
• Calculator choices stay in your browser. The filing-status, bracket and federal-rate selectors run entirely in your browser; nothing you pick is sent to us.
• Server logs. Like any website, the hosting/CDN provider that serves these pages may automatically process technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use this only in aggregate, if at all, and do not sell it.

Newsletter

If you sign up for The StateYield Monday Auction Brief, your email address is collected and stored by our email provider, Kit (kit.com), and used only to send the newsletter. We will not sell or rent your address. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe anytime. Kit may provide standard email metrics (e.g. opens and clicks). Kit handles your data under its privacy policy.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and visits. It is privacy-focused and cookie-free: it does not set cookies, does not use your browser's local storage, and does not track individuals across sites. We see only aggregate traffic figures (for example, page views, visits, referring sites and country), never a profile of you. Cloudflare processes this data under its privacy policy.

Links to other sites

Pages link to fund issuers, the U.S. Treasury, brokers and (in the future) partner offers. Those sites have their own privacy policies; we don't control what they collect once you leave StateYield.

Children

StateYield is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We'll post any changes here with a new effective date.
